9 Ways To Tell If You're Really In Love

You've been going around telling all your friends and family that you have been dating a guy or girl who you really believe is "the one." As a matter of fact, you think you're in love. So how can you tell if it's real and that you really are in love with this person? Now I'm no expert on the subject of love, but have seen my share of what true love really looks like and in my case a few times; what it feels like. I look around and see so many people who truly thought they were in love then all of a sudden, they are calling it quits many times over irreconcilable differences and then it's on to the next one. I decided to take a look at what many couples who have displayed real, genuine, and unconditional love for each other have done to keep the fire burning in their relationship and how they knew they were really in love. I hope this list can give you further insight:

1. Do you allow certain things from this person that would usually irritate you from others? If the answer is yes then it sounds like you are compromising all in the sake of true love, which is a good sign that there may be something there.
2. Are you okay with going to a football game instead of girls night out sometimes all because you love him?(even if you're not a foot ball fan) This is a good sign that it's important to you that he sees your ability to be versatile in your relationship and it's not just about you and what you want to do because that's the way things have been.
3. Do you find yourself calling him to let him know what you're doing? Not because he's blown up your phone or put a GPS tracking device on your car; but because you love and respect him enough to share things like that with him. This is a pretty good sign that your love is sincere.
4. Has he or she been invited to family functions with you and you're actually happy to have them there meeting your peeps? We live in a strange world and now more than ever many of us are very private and protective of our loved ones. In other words we won't just drag any old thing home; so if he or she have made it this far, then that's a sign of pretty strong emotions.
5. Can he depend on you as much as you can depend on him? Have you told him that you love him or are you waiting on him to tell you first? Don't think about this too hard because no matter how embarrassed or desperate you may feel telling him this; if you feel you love him and can clearly see he loves you then you should tell him. The worse thing that could happen is he may not feel the same way and well; then you have your answer. 
6. Do you want to talk to him or her all the time? Do you think of him or her all the time and I don't mean obsessive jealous thoughts, I mean loving and caring thoughts?
7. How patient are you when it comes to him or her? This is the ultimate test of all times. You must be able to many times bite your tongue to prevent an argument and maybe approach he or she in a different way at a different time if there are some concerns you may have.
8. You give him room to work on his passions and you support them. If you can do this and not sit around telling him that his visions will never happen so he shouldn't waste his time, then you are really in love and willing to just simply embrace instead of push away.
9. You're willing to wait to have sex if he/she has requested this from you. You start throwing out that old well I need to know how it feels and blah blah blah excuse. You just simply wait.
