Why Is He Suddenly Calling Me? Is He Up To Something?

I'm trying so hard to not always think a man is being sneaky. It's just kind of tough when this type of behavior goes on. I mean, why stop calling so long, then suddenly start again? What was the sudden interest?

So I'd been talking to this guy I met a few months ago and we seemed to be getting along pretty well. Then all of a sudden we lost contact. I didn't hear from him anymore and he didn't hear from me. Recently, I get this text saying he'll be coming to Atlanta at the end of the month and he's been calling me like crazy. We've actually been having some very fun conversations and all.

I don't want to over analyze, but can't help but to think he's only been calling me more and more and flirting more and more so he can secure himself some "goodies" If you know what I mean. Because we've had the opportunity to bond, get to know more about each other and all that, but it hasn't happened. So why now? I know someone may think I could have started calling him back and re-bonding, that's probably true, but I will say that I'm just done with the game of chase. He showed just as much interest in me as I showed in him.

I want to relax and just enjoy the friendship and where it may be headed, but I'm so skeptical. What are some of your views? Should I call him out on it, or just let him come and see if he tries anything? Thanks for stopping by!
