Can You be Single, Satisfied, and Saved? Ashley Lounds- Brooks Believes You Can

I am very excited about this book review. This is definitely a nice change to my blog. I wanted to make sure that I continue to permeate change not only in relationships and dating between men and women, but change as a whole within yourself. This  young ladies book says it all, with out any further delay please read my book review.

We live in a world where what is expected by society is what many of us have been taught to master or try to achieve in order to find joy. When you’re not keeping up with the “in crowd” then you’re not living according society. If you’re single these days, then you must have a problem many may think. In her book, “Single, Satisfied, and Saved” Ashley Lounds- Brooks does an excellent job at guiding women who struggle with wanting to do what’s right,  but falling short with ultimatums that suggest they sin and give up who they are to fit in, have a man in their life, and in societies eyes, “be happy.” Ashley explains how to be satisfied with being single and at the same time continue to apply the Christian values many women have been taught coming up, but have strayed away from in an effort to, “belong.”

From her straight to the point theories to her real talk scenarios, Ashley takes women to where she was when she too began to surrender to sin in order to find what she thought was joy. She reminds us of who God is and shows us the good side of being single and can I say, I never looked at it this way and you won’t believe the good things Ashley highlights on.
There is much to be said about the single life and many may ask "Why am I Single?" Some may find themselves unhappy with being single and eventually they might just settle for anything, just to say they have a man.
If you're looking for a way out, a light at the end of your dark tunnel and a way to feel good about being single, then you should definitely read this book.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Ashley Lounds-Brooks is also known as Brook S. Lounds in the entertainment industry. She is the founder of a nonprofit organization for women entitled CLASSIC Inc. (www.classicorp.org) which serves 'the vehicle for women empowerment' since 2007. It is her overall goal to help women better themselves in every area of their life.

I don't know why I didn't notice this post earlier, but yes, I think that Ashley is a wonderful courageous young woman to write this book. Great review! I was also thinking that she might make a great guest on a certain relationship show:)
