Before you date, figure out what you are really looking for.

Nothing bugs me more than meeting a man who when asked says he doesn't really know what he's looking for. Okay so why did you stop me in the mall or at that gas station? Oh you knew something! I have gotten to the point where I feel people should just focus on themselves before they try to date. I mean seriously, all these emotionally challenged people are driving me nuts. Many years ago, when you met a woman it was because you were interested and wanted to know more about her to gradually see if she was a woman you'd like to see more of and who knows, maybe fall in love and married her. I mean that seems so simple to me, but unfortunately people today make it so difficult to just date. I had a guy the other day online show me some interest so we messaged each other for a minute and I then asked him if he likes to date. His response,

"No. I don't enjoy dating. iIt's about quality not quanity. i am finding it very hard to meet a real woman in atlanta. i guess it is because the ratio is so favorable for men here, that woman here are trying to get what they can ,before the man does. So no one really tries to get to know each other. Then you throw in the bisexual ,downlow,what ever you call it, it's very discouraging. So know iI don't enjoy dating, but I like meeting new people. Sorry about the long answer."

Can I now ask why you messaged me if you don't like to date? Just what is it that you like to do, because last time I checked in order to learn more about a person, you may need to date and get to know her. Then he said "but I like meeting new people." So when you meet these new people then what? Do they go in this pile of new people you've met or something I mean give me a break! If you're not ready then don't message me I can't become friends playing the game of I don't do like this and I don't like that,I don't know what I'm looking for and blah blah blah, well if you don't like dating and truly learning about a person then I'm not the one for you. I'm not a life coach I can only share my stance and hope to get to know more about a person but you have to know what you want first.What did you think you were going to come chill at my crib or something? You don't date Ha!
